Day 1

Hanoi – Ba Be National Park (≈ 240 km)

Depart from Hanoi in the morning and travel north through scenic countryside and mountain roads toward Ba Be National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of rural villages, rice fields, and limestone hills. Arrive in Ba Be in the afternoon and check in at a local homestay or eco-lodge. In the late afternoon, take a short walk around the village to experience the peaceful life of ethnic Tay people. Dinner is served with traditional local dishes.

Day 2

Ba Be Lake – Cao Bang (≈ 180 km)

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing boat trip on Ba Be Lake, one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in Vietnam. Visit highlights such as Puong Cave, An Ma Temple, and small lakes surrounded by jungle and limestone cliffs. Continue the journey to Cao Bang through quiet back roads and remote mountain areas. Stop along the way for photos and short breaks to admire the landscapes. Arrive in Cao Bang town in the late afternoon and check in at the hotel.

Day 3

Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Nguom Ngao Cave (≈ 120 km)

Today is a highlight of the tour. Travel to Ban Gioc Waterfall, the largest and most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam, located on the border between Vietnam and China. Enjoy time to walk around, take photos, and admire the powerful cascades. Continue to Nguom Ngao Cave, one of the most impressive limestone caves in Northern Vietnam, featuring spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. Day 4

Cao Bang – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village (≈ 200 km)

Day 5

Du Gia – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Dong Van (≈ 80 km)
