Day 0: Road trip 
Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before departure. Settle in for the scenic 7-hour ride up north, with a pit stop along the way to stretch, snack, or panic-buy anything you forgot.

You’ll roll into Ha Giang with plenty of time to meet the crew, grab a cold beer by the pool, and enjoy some tasty local bites to warm up for the epic loop ahead.

Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba - Du Gia (B/L/D)

Distance: Approximately 100km

Highlights: Bac Sum slope – Quan Ba heaven gate – Lung Tam linen weaving village – Du Gia waterfall

The expedition kicks off with a ride through Pac Sum Pass, followed by a stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate. Lunch awaits in Tam Son town, surrounded by mountain scenery.
In the afternoon, we cross the Dong Van suspension bridge and follow the scenic Thai An route, one of the most beautiful stretches of road in Ha Giang.
A coffee break in Lung Ho sets the tone before descending into the lush Du Gia Valley. Check in, enjoy pool time, and watch the sun dip behind the mountains.

Day 2

Du Gia – Meo Vac – Dong Van (B /L/ D)

Distance: Approximately 100km

Highlights: Nho Que river – Tu San Canyon – Ma Pí Leng Pass – Fair Market Meo Vac (only Sunday)

Travel through remote Red Dao and Nung villages, enjoy a bamboo raft ride at Ban An stream, then conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass.
Arrive in Dong Van Old Town for a deeper cultural evening.
Overnight: Dong Van

Day 3

Dong Van – Lung Cu – Yen Minh (B/ L/ D)

Distance: Approximately 100km

Highlights: China border – Lung Cu flag pole– H’mong King palace

We start the day heading southeast toward the Vietnam–China border — where your guide will drop some wild stories and local lore.
Visit Lung Khuy Cave, then continue north to Thien Huong village.
Hike up to the iconic Lung Cu Flag Pole, Vietnam’s northernmost point, before lunch in Lo Lo Chai village, famous for its H’mong clay houses.
In the afternoon, explore the H’mong King’s Palace, cross Tham Ma Pass, and enjoy a final coffee stop at Can Ty Pass.
Dinner and overnight in Nam Dam village, known for its peaceful atmosphere.

Day 4

Yen Minh - Quan Ba - Ha Giang (B /L)

Distance: Approximately 80km

Highlights: Lung Khuy Cave - Visit Dao ethnic culture village

Choose between a 4km hike to Lung Khuy Cave or a visit to a nearby waterfall. The trail winds through dramatic karst landscapes at 850–1100m elevation.
After a final lunch in Quan Ba District, return to Ha Giang city and continue back to Hanoi, closing the ultimate northern expedition.

After the hike, we head to Quan Ba District for a final lunch with a view — then it’s back to Ha Giang, completing the loop before the evening journey. Depending on your selected option, we can return to Hanoi or continue to Cao Bang, Sapa, or Ha Long Bay, with drop-off at a central location in the city.
