Day 0: Road trip
Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before departure. Settle in for the scenic 7-hour ride up north, with a pit stop along the way to stretch, snack, or panic-buy anything you forgot.
You’ll roll into Ha Giang with plenty of time to meet the crew, grab a cold beer by the pool, and enjoy some tasty local bites to warm up for the epic loop ahead.
DAY 1: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN (B / L / D)
After breakfast in Ha Giang, the expedition begins with a scenic ride into the northern highlands. We climb through Pac Sum Pass before reaching Quan Ba Heaven Gate, where panoramic views open over rolling valleys and limestone peaks.
Lunch is served en route before continuing deeper into the mountains, passing traditional villages and winding roads toward Yen Minh.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Dong Van, a historic highland town set within the UNESCO-listed karst plateau. Dinner is shared locally, followed by a relaxed evening walk through the old town.

MA PI LENG PASS – NHO QUE RIVER – HA GIANG – HANOI (B / L )
An early start brings us to the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most dramatic mountain roads in Vietnam. From above, the emerald ribbon of the Nho Que River cuts through a deep canyon below.
We descend for a peaceful boat trip on the Nho Que River, offering a completely different perspective of the surrounding cliffs.
After lunch, we ride back toward Ha Giang City, completing the loop before the evening journey. Depending on your selected option, we can return to Hanoi or continue to Cao Bang, Sapa, or Ha Long Bay, with drop-off at a central location in the city.
